WHAT TYPES OF PROPERTIES CAN YOU CLEAR?

We clear all types of properties including houses, bungalows, flats, offices and shops. If you have a clearance not listed then give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate.

WHAT TYPE OF ITEMS DO YOU CLEAR?

Just about everything!  The most common items are basically what we have in our own homes such as furniture, white goods, sofas, beds, contents of kitchens, attics, garages, sheds and greenhouses right down to the smaller things like ornaments and crockery.

DO YOU BUY ITEMS?

In a word, no. To avoid any complaints at a later date, we feel it best to have items that you have not been able to sell yourself go to auction. That way we feel we are giving our clients a fully transparent service.

I HAVE ITEMS THAT NEED TO BE DELIVERED TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS, CAN THIS BE ARRANGED?

Yes of course, just advise, or make a list of those items along with delivery address and contact details. We will then make a suitably convenient date and time to deliver.

HOW LONG DOES A HOUSE CLEARANCE TAKE?

This depends on certain factors such as quantities, type of items, and accessibility.  However, we will do a pre clearance survey and give you an estimate of the time involved.

WILL I NEED TO BE PRESENT WHEN THE HOUSE CLEARANCE TAKES PLACE?

We understand that in some cases it is not possible for you to be at the property on the day of clearance. Providing we have clear instructions as to what you wish us to do then the answer is no. For example, certain items may need delivering to family or friends, certain items for auction and any non saleable items for disposal.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR A HOUSE CLEARANCE? 

Our charges are based on an hourly rate and this will be indicated to you at the time of survey.

ARE YOU INSURED OR DO WE NEED TO ARRANGE OUR OWN INSURANCE?

We are currently fully insured up to a limit of £10,000 per vehicle.  However, if you would like to increase this limit then please advise at time of survey since an additional premium may be charged. If you have items such as fine art, jewellery, ornaments etc then a total value can easily exceed this limit so it is important that you let us know if you have any doubts.

ARE YOU REGISTERD AS A WASTE CARRIER?

Yes we are! So no worries about any comeback for illegal dumping!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TAKE MY ITEMS TO AUCTION?

We list and categorise your items before entering into the next available auction.  After the auction we arrange a cheque for the full proceeds to be sent either to yourself or if a deceased estate, to the Executor or person looking after the estate.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?

Providing we are given ample notice, we can arrange for the property to be cleaned and gardens tidied up so that it is presentable for viewing to potential purchasers.
